Mediation Week 2020 Offers Resources Featuring A Who’s Who of Attorneys, Mediators & Executives

ATLANTA (October 19, 2020) – Miles Mediation & Arbitration is bringing together some of the Southeast’s leading attorneys, mediators, and corporate executives to mark Mediation Week 2020 with a series of free CLEs and other educational opportunities covering Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), specifically Mediation.

Mediation Week starts Monday October 19 and runs through Friday October 23, 2020. Each day, Miles and the expert presenters will focus on a different topic in mediation to help the public and the legal community better understand the mediation process.

The American Bar Association also recognizes Mediation Week virtually with the theme of “Access to Justice – The Role of Mediation.” The Dispute Resolution Section of the ABA has nearly 11,000 members, and Miles Mediation & Arbitration neutral Winter Wheeler oversaw development of this year’s ABA Virtual Mediation Week.

Many trials have been delayed during the long-running COVID-19 pandemic. Mediation is a viable option for litigants to resolve cases while saving money, time, and the emotional turmoil often experienced during litigation.

The on-demand CLEs and webinars offered by Miles can be found here.
