ATLANTA, GA., June 15, 2016: Miles Mediation, the largest mediation and arbitration firm in Georgia, today announced the addition of Daniel. C. Cohen, Esq. to its panel. Mr. Cohen will lead Miles Mediation’s new office in Savannah, GA that opens July 1, 2016.
As a mediator and litigator in Georgia and South Carolina for over 30 years, Mr. Cohen will mediate a wide variety of cases. He has experience with cases involving personal injury, medical malpractice, commercial and business, premises liability, product liability, torts, trucking, employment/discrimination, wrongful death and construction litigation claims.

Mr. Cohen is a partner with Brannen, Searcy & Smith in Savannah, where he has practiced for over 32 years, and he plans to remain affiliated with his law firm. “ I am delighted to be mediating cases with Miles Mediation in their new Savannah office starting in July. The new mediation suites are perfectly suited for me to handle multi-party mediations in the Savannah area, but I will continue to mediate cases in the Lowcountry of South Carolina and all over South Georgia. Mr. Cohen is a member of the Georgia Academy of Distinguished Neutrals; he has received an AV preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and he has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the practice area of Alternative Dispute Resolution since 2008.
He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina in 1985 and his Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Presbyterian College in 1982.
